Bra Fitting
101
1 Ask the Experts Every woman
should treat herself
to the services of a
bra-fitting expert at
a good department
store. Those ladies
know what they’re
doing!
2 Fall In Bend over and
allow your breasts
to fall naturally
into the cups. Then
stand up and put
a hand on each
breast, positioning
your nipples so
they’re at the center
of the cups.
3 Loosen Up Make sure the
bra you buy fits you
when worn on the
loosest hooks. That
way you can tighten
it up after the bra
ages and loses some
of its structure.
4 Get Wired Check to make
sure that underwires
aren’t pulling away
from the body in the
center. If they do,
your cup size is
too small.
5 Look Back The back of
the bra should rest
comfortably against
the middle of your
back. If it hikes up,
it’s the wrong band
size—and you’re
at risk of looking
as if you have the
dreaded back fat.
Stacy’s Tip
Look for V-neck tops
that avoid showing
cleavage and that drape
softly across the bust.

shell, $98.
6 Weigh In Start all over
again if you lose
weight—you can
drop a cup size after
losing as little as five
to ten pounds.
